Camptocamp, as a major player in the open source geospatial community, invests in sponsorship of various conferences in Europe. We are happy to support the GeoDataDays again in France as a silver sponsor.
Our participation this year is special because of the upcoming release of the Géo2France platform: a merge of the GéoPicardie and PPige Nord-Pas de Calais portals. This IDG is based on the geOrchestra solution, an Open Source project which now supplies several other regional IDGs (PIGMA, GeoGrandEst, CRAIG, GeoBretagne), a national platform (Bolivia) and many others, which can be found on www.georchestra.org.
We are looking forward to meeting you at our booth, discussing your projects, challenges and how geospatial open source tools can bring something new to your organization. It will also be an opportunity for us to present our latest achievements.
Wednesday, July 3 at 1 pm, during the session around the big topic – Geointelligence or geographic information in action: the challenges of defense and security – We will have the pleasure on giving feedback about the implementation of open source software for geo-intelligence.
Camptocamp is the main initiator and publisher of the free software geomapfish and geOrchestra. In addition, Camptocamp is one of the major contributors to flagship open source projects such as openlayers, geonetwork and qgis.
See you on July 2nd and 3rd in Arras!
