The FOSSGIS conference is one of the leading conferences for open source GIS software, which the organiser himself describes as follows:
“The goal of the annual conference is to spread the word about free and open source software for geoinformation systems. Users and developers meet here to exchange information about application and work possibilities as well as the latest developments in this field. It is about web mapping, spatial data infrastructures, spatial data management, geoprocessing and desktop GIS and about free spatial data, such as OpenStreetMap”.
Camptocamp is the main initiator and publisher of various open source solutions in the fields of WebGIS, Spatial Data Infrastructure and Desktop GIS. Our Open Source Stack includes: GeoMapFish, MapFish Print, geOrchestra, OpenLayers, GeoNetwork and QGIS.
