Camptocamp becomes a Kubernetes Certified Service Provider — KCSP — and is thus officially recognized for its expertise on the Kubernetes Container Orchestrator.
From its inception Camptocamp has always been an early adopter of new technologies in the field of server infrastructure. After participating in the spread of Linux operating systems and Open Source Configuration Management solutions such as Puppet and Ansible, Camptocamp adopted as soon as 2015 emerging containerized solutions such as Docker, Rancher, or OpenShift, the latter both being are Kubernetes certified solutions. With this new partnership, Camptocamp consolidates and proves its value and intentions in contributing to the success of Kubernetes as a leading open source technology, enabling to respond to new technological challenges in IT. The KCSP (Kubernetes Certified Service Provider) Program
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), which is part of the Linux Foundation, was founded in 2015 to promote container-based Open Source technologies. Kubernetes is the iconic project supported by this foundation. It is a container orchestrator initially developed by Google, and later handed over to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
The KCSP program aims to officially recognize the expertise of companies such as Camptocamp for mastering the deployment, usage, and operational management of Kubernetes in the professional world. In order to become a KCSP partner, it is necessary to have at least 3 employees with a CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification, to have the ability to support other companies in their desire to adopt these technologies, as well as being a member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
Camptocamp is an IT company specialized in Open Source, with more than 100 collaborators in Switzerland, France, and Germany. Through its specialized engineers Camptocamp actively contributes to make Linux and Open Source software more accessible to many companies and institutions. Its various contributions are recognized and valued by many reference projects.
Camptocamp’s Infrastructure Department is in full growth and its skills are recognized not only in many Open Source communities, but also by major companies active in this field.
