Le Bourget-du-Lac, Octobre 11, 2018 : The French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition selects Camptocamp for the development and the maintenance of geoSpatiAL applications and components
The French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition is a major player in the use and enhancement of open source geospatial solutions. It wished to continue its association with leading companies in the field within the scope of a long-term framework agreement.
The contract, which is awarded for a period of up to 48 months, covers the development and maintenance of geospatial applications and components for the Centre de Prestations et d’Ingénierie Informatiques (CP2I), which is responsible for the project management of national geospatial tools.
Camptocamp, initiator and representative of an internationally renowned consortium composed of 2ndQuadrant, Spatialys, OpenGIS, Paragon and DataPink, , has been selected for the development and maintenance of geospatial applications and components.
In keeping with the previous years, we look forward to continuing an enriching cooperation for all stakeholders – from users to contributors – in the open source communities involved (PostGIS, QGIS, OpenLayers, Proj4js, OGR, Mapserver, Geoserver, GeoWebCache, etc).
