Being organized for the first time in 2010, FrOSCamp event consists of an exhibition, talks, workshops and hackfests featuring free and open source software, free content, open standards, open systems and digital sustainability.

The three business divisions of Camptocamp will be represented with talks and workshops:

Infrastructure Solutions: Marc Fournier will give a workshop on Puppet;
Geospatial Solutions: Emmanuel Belo will give a talk on Cloud computing designed for high availability Webmapping;

WebKit Report : system revolution for OpenERP

Dear community and partners,

At the last Community & Partners meeting, Camptocamp participated to several workshops on various topics. One of them was on the reporting system of OpenERP; following this workshop, some conclusions have been drawn on which direction to follow. Mainly, we though that we needed a more powerful engine than RML (for better performance) as well as something more easy to use (to reduce costs).

Today, we do have such a solution, including all the requirements discussed together back in March !!

Camptocamp Business Solutions’ team is proud to announce the release of OpenERP WebKit Report as a module for the V5.0 of OpenERP. You can find it in the extra-addons branch as the module called "c2c_webkit_report". This newly released module includes the following main features:

OpenERP Compliant (translation, formatLang, pdf/html output)
HTML & CSS-3 Reports definition
Multi-plateform (Windows, Linux, OS X)
Multi-header support with full image support (per report and/or per company)
Multi-company compliant
Full JavaScript support
Easy paper-size, margin and format selection
And more : Raw HTML debugger, futur full integrated WYSIWYG editor, …

Camptocamp sera présent à la 4ème convention E-Commerce, le 27 mai 2010 à Genève.

Ce salon professionnel couvre les thèmes du e-commerce et du e-marketing. Evénement phare, il regroupe pas moins de 50 exposants et 70 conférenciers afin de présenter des cas pratiques, d’échanger des témoignages, de transmettre des innovations et par conséquent de découvrir en une seule étape toutes les nouveautés du secteur.

Sur le thème "E-Commerce, les outils de votre croissance en ligne", Mr Maurer, en collaboration avec Mr Bazin de la société Scalena , présentera "Optimisation de Magento : Gestion de stock / Logistique / Comptabilité . Focus sur OpenERP" , de 09h00 à 09h45.

Version 0.1 Beta for MOA : the management of OpenERP instances

Camptocamp Business Solutions’ team is proud to announce the release of the version 0.1 Beta for the management of OpenERP instances.

It allows to :

Deploy OpenERP
Archive / Restore any OpenERP instance

This version is based on description files of the chosen OpenERP instance. MOA (Mighty OpenERP Admin) is already able to complete this locally and remotely with several gateways (hop) before reaching the specific server.

OpenERP Scenario

Joël Grand-Guillaume, Business Division Manager of Camptocamp, presented this afternoon the OpenERP Scenario Project. This presentation was given at the OpenERP Community Meeting, taking place in Belgium and for which Camptocamp has delegated 4 people.

This project provides a new way to make real tests on OpenERP and to prevent regression problems.
