Cédric Moullet, Directeur Geospatial, présentera le projet MapFish lors de la conférence OpenExpo 2010 qui aura lieu du 23 au 24 Mars à Berne.
OpenExpo est le plus grand salon de Suisse et de la conférence sur les logiciels Open Source. Il permet d’entrer en contact direct avec les personnes derrière les projets libres et d’obtenir des réponses précises sur les nouveaux développements Open Source, mettant en synergie les besoins métiers et les besoins applicatifs .
Avec la présence d’experts nationaux et internationaux, la première journée sera consacrée au thème " durabilité numérique" et la deuxième sera axée sur les besoins informatiques des PME.

Emmanuel Belo presented this morning the MapFish development framework in the main conference room of FOSSGIS 2010 in Osnabrück, Germany. As highlight, I can mention MapFish Mobile and the cloud computing for hosting MapFish application.
This afternoon was dedicated to a MapFish workshop that I conducted together with Till Adams, MapFish PSC member and owner of Terrestris . The workshop was well attended and you can try it here (for Windows user, try this one ).

The swiss geoportal proposes 35 layers of various Swiss administrations, like:
- Dufour Map
- Transport Network
- Ground statistic
MapFish technology has been used to implement this web 2.0 mapping application Together with the usage of cloud computing, it allows fast performance and very high load.

www.geo.admin.ch, das Geoportal des Bundes auf dem Internet ist jetzt online.
Das Geoinformationsgesetz (GeoIG) und die Geoinformationsverordnung (GeoIV) verpflichten die öffentlichen Institutionen, die Geobasisdaten ihres Zuständigkeitsbereichs in einer Geodateninfrastruktur (GDI) zugänglich zu machen. geo.admin.ch ist ein bezüglich der technischen Lösung innovatives und der Komplexität des GeoIG entsprechendes Eintrittsportal (bestehend aus Portal, Kartenviewer und Datenhaltungskomponenten).
Ab sofort stehen über www.geo.admin.ch zur Verfügung:
- Kartenviewer / Katalog: über 35 Datensätze von swisstopo, BAFU und BFS.
- Verlinkung zu 17 thematischen GIS Portalen der Bundesverwaltung
- WMS mit 44 Datensätzen des BAFU und BFS
- Einfache Einbindung interaktiver Karten in Websites der Bundesverwaltung (API)
Das Projekt zur Realisierung einer ersten Version von geo.admin.ch wurde im Herbst 2008 von der GKG gestartet. Unter der Leitung von swisstopo/KOGIS wurde das Projekt abgewickelt. Eine Projektoberaufsicht bestehend aus Vertretern von swisstopo, WSL und ARE wurde gebildet und begleitete das Projekt. In der Betriebsphase 2010 werden weitere Datensätze integriert und minimale Anpassungen am Portal selbst durchgeführt.
Die Seitennavigation wurde gemäss für den CD Bund Websites verbindlichen Usability und Accessibility Richtlinien aufgebaut. Dadurch kann der Besucher die Informationen leichter finden.
Die Hauptthemenrubriken sind „Geodaten“, „Karten“, „Thematische Geoportale“, „Dienstleistungen“ und „Über geo.admin.ch“.
Die Startseite zeigt auf einen Blick die neuesten in geo.admin.ch integrierten Datensätze. Der
direkte Zugriff über die Stichwörter erleichtert die Suche und führt den Interessenten direkt zur gewünschten Information.

La Loi sur la géoinformation (LGéo) et l’Ordonnance sur la géoinformation (OGéo) nous engagent à mettre à disposition les géodonnées des institutions publiques dans une infrastructure de données géographiques (IDG). geo.admin.ch est en se sens une solution innovatrice de portail d’entrée (qui se compose d’un portail, d’un visualiseur cartographique, et de composants de stockage de données) qui permets de répondre aux exigences complexes de la LGéo.
Sur www.geo.admin.ch:
- visualiseur cartographique / catalogue: plus de 35 jeux de données de swisstopo, de l’OFEV et de l’OFS
- Lien avec 17 Portail SIG thématiques de l’administration fédérale
- WMS avec 44 jeux de données de l’OFEV et de l’OFS
- Une API pour l’intégration de Cartes interactives dans les sites Web de l’administration fédérale
Le projet visant à mettre en oeuvre une première version de geo.admin.ch a été initié à l’Automne 2008 par le GCS et s’est déroulé sous la direction de swisstopo/COSIG. Une supervision de projet composée de représentants de swisstopo, du WSL et de l’ARE a été formée et a aussi accompagné le projet. Dans la phase d’exploitation de nouveau jeux de données vont être intégrés et de petites modification sur le portail vont être effectuées.
La navigation a été construite selon les directives d’usabilité et d’accessibilité du CD Bund. Cela permets au visiteur de trouver facilement des informations.
Les thèmes principaux sont “Géodonnées”, “Cartes”, Géoportails thématiques”, “Services proposés”, “geo.admin.ch”.
Au premier coup d’oeil sur la page d’accueil on a un aperçu des derniers jeux de données qui ont été intégrés. L’accès aux données à travers des mots clef facilite la recherche et conduit les personnes intéressées directement vers l’information désirée.
