Linux System Engineer
Camptocamp «Infrastructure Solutions» team is looking for a Linux System Engineer oriented "DevOps", interested in complex infrastructure management, and the use and development of groundbreaking solutions in this area.
Outgoing, you are able to work in a team and understand clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance and support on GNU/Linux
- Participation in the management of multiple servers parks (Cloud, Datacenter)
- Project management (internal and external)
- Involvement in Open Source communities related to our Infrastructure division
Skills:
- Solid experience in system and network asset management on GNU/Linux
- Perfect command of Debian and RedHat distributions
- Perfect command of major Web applications software
- Advanced knowledge in automatization tools (Puppet/Chef/Cfengine)
- Good programming level
- Knowledge in major Open Source virtualization tools
Experience:
- Setup and maintenance of several hundred servers
- Design and implementations of HA (High Availability) and Load Balanced solutions
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) like Amazon AWS
- Practical experience with a configuration management framework (Puppet, Chef, CFengine)
Background:
- Implementation and maintenance of a park with several Linux servers
- Implementation of a high availability solution and load balancing
- Good experience in an IaaS environment such as Amazon AWS, Rackspace, OpenStack
Profile:
- Solid experience in system and network asset management on GNU/Linux
- Languages : French, English, German a plus
- Independent, enthusiastic and responsible
- Ability to make strategic decisions
Hiring date: immediately or to be agreed upon
Work site: Lausanne (Switzerland) or Chambéry (France)
Note : if hired in France, the employee will be trained for the first three months after his/her hire date in Lausanne (Switzerland).
