Monday, February 2nd, 2009 by Luc Maurer
Camptocamp has just released the beta version of OpenERP Client for Mac OS X Leopard !!

Please go to the following address to get the lastest 5.0 version via Bazaar and then copy it to your /Applications folder.

bzr branch lp:~c2c/macopenobjectclient/light_version

Or, if you just want to download it as .zip, follow the links below:

4.2:

5.0:

If someone wants the source code to compile it, Camptocamp OpenERP team can send it to you. As it takes 1Go, we decided not to upload this part on launchpad…

Known issues, in case someone wants to contribute :
  • Old icons sets
  • The Hypocanevas libs is not yet compiled (for calendar view). This library is not yet available on macport, due to bus error
  • The Universal binary  crashes on PPC architecture
  • NET-RPC don’t work yet, please use XML-RPC
A Big Thanks to Nicolas, who made a great job on this release ;-)
